Basement Stairway and Hatchway Door Flooding
Hatchway entrances leak from underneath metal hatchway doors, where the hatchway and foundation meet, and through cracks in the concrete. No matter where the water is coming from, we offer a TrenchDrain Hatchway Door System to keep it out of your basement. The TrenchDrain is designed with a half-round pipe section with a grated top fitting. When installed, it's flush with your concrete floor.
This system is meant to be used as part of your existing perimeter drain system. It spans the staircase and collects water that spills down and directs it to your drain and sump pump system. We can install the system to span the hatchway entrance or extend it inside the hatchway itself.
Plumbing Failure Flooding
Flooding from a plumbing failure can cause damage to carpet, drywall, appliances, and personal possessions. Mold that is associated with flooding can also create allergens that could lead to serious long-term health effects.
While we cannot prevent all pipes, toilets, sinks, tubs, faucets or other home plumbing fixtures from ever leaking, we can provide effective solutions to prevent common plumbing failures. We offer industrial-grade FloodCheck Hoses to replace old washer hoses that are at risk of bursting open from constant water pressure. You can also come to us for sump pump alarm systems that alert you when a flood occurs, as well as a FloodRing Water Heater Flood Protection System to prevent water heater floods. The FloodRing Sytem includes a 4" PVC ring that is designed to collect water from your water heater and direct it to your perimeter drain.
We suggest combining the FloodRing with our WaterWatch Alarm, which is placed inside the ring for additional protection. It sounds off when water is detected and can even be hooked up to some home alarm systems.
